About this project
In a series of materials produced for the Legacy arm of the NCC, C(Group tells a story of need, support and thanks to some of their most important donors and prospective donors.
NLS (Nature Legacy Society) members have invested in the future of Canada’s natural heritage through gifts and endowments and the recognition brochure offers the medium through which to acknowledge and showcase how donor dollars have yielded results and show appreciation for those who have made NCC work possible. By virtue, it also encourages future donors.
Aimed at new legacy donors, brochures and tradeshow materials were written and designed to convey the importance of preservation of our natural Canadian identity for future generations and to encourage estate and willed giving.
Always mindful and meticulous about established brand guidelines and visual identity standards, our approach includes careful art direction of photography and typesetting. The vastness of the NCC image library lends particular challenges to selecting just the right visuals, but our approach ensures a good cross-section of inspirational, landscape and wildlife to reflect the great diversity Canada’s natural environment and the impact it has on us. The balance of the graphic design comes together with headlines, testimonials, or callouts.

RSGCAbout this project
RSGC teachings are based around the idea that happy boys and boys who are allowed to be themselves will excel. Through this ideology C(Group was able to weave an admissions campaign based on this differentiating factor which sets RSGC apart from other all-boys schools.
Students were asked to define who they are and what they get for being at RSGC in six words and from their responses the design of the campaign unfolded as a presentation of how RSGC empowers their students to be the best versions of themselves. Through the adjectives that students described themselves C(Group was able to depict the essence of the school coming to life. These adjectives were characteristic of both a rich academic offering but also a very personalized learning experience.
C(Group produced the RSGC tagline, “RSGC. Here, I am” and created the RSGC Admissions Viewbook as well as advertisements for the Globe and Mail and various other publications including the Town Crier.

Canadian cancer societyAbout this project
The Ontario division of the Canadian Cancer Society produces an impact report each year. C(Group helped them transition this publication into the digital space by producing an online-first interactive version of the report. Of course, a printed version was also produced. “The cause we fight; the victories we share” is told through a series of stories and videos each serving to highlight key accomplishments for the year. The design concept centered around picture frames (or windows into the lives of those affected) encourages readers to see the impact of the work of the society through the lenses of all those touched by cancer from survivors to politicians, volunteers, patients, family, and the public. C(Group produced the report from content (writing), through media (photography and videography), and web and print design development.
The impact report is more than a report on achievements, it is one of the primary tools the society uses to reach donors and potential donors to demonstrate how their contributions are making a difference.
